Phimai it is not, but very similar construct to its neighbour and from the same date.
Very little information can be found about this archeological site.
Presently has no information to its construction but is believed to date from the 12th century. Has very few visitors but is well worth a detour to see this temple (Wat) in its beautiful setting with large lake along side it.
